These Terms govern your use of golddetectors.co.zm and any purchase you make from us. Please read them before ordering. By placing an order you accept these Terms.
1. Who we are
Gold Detectors Zambia supplies gold detectors, metal detectors, imaging systems and long-range locator systems to customers in Zambia and the surrounding region.
2. Products and descriptions
We describe every product as accurately as we can, using manufacturer specifications. Detection depth figures published by manufacturers are measured under ideal test conditions. Real performance in Zambian ground depends on soil mineralisation, target size, target depth, coil choice and operator skill. Depth figures are guidance, not a guarantee of results.
Product images are illustrative. Accessories shown in photographs are only included when listed in the "What's in the box" section of the product page.
3. Prices and currency
Prices are shown in Zambian Kwacha (ZMW) by default. Other currencies shown by the currency switcher are indicative conversions for your convenience. The ZMW price is the binding price unless we confirm otherwise in writing. Prices may change without notice; the price confirmed on your order is the price that applies.
Prices exclude any import duty, customs charge or local tax payable at destination unless we state otherwise in writing.
4. Orders and acceptance
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm your order and payment. We may decline an order if the item is out of stock, a price was listed in error, or we cannot verify payment or delivery details.
5. Payment
We accept card payment (via Stripe), PayPal, bank transfer, Western Union and cash on delivery where available. Goods remain our property until payment is received in full.
6. Delivery
Delivery times and costs are set out in our Shipping Policy. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guaranteed dates. We are not liable for delays caused by customs, couriers or events outside our control.
7. Returns
Returns are governed by our Return Policy. Please read it before ordering — the return window is short and conditions apply.
8. Warranty
Products carry the manufacturer's warranty as described on our Warranty & Maintenance page. Warranty does not cover physical damage, water ingress beyond the product's rated protection, unauthorised repair, or normal wear of coils, cables and batteries.
9. Correct and lawful use
Important: prospecting, mining and mineral trading in Zambia are regulated activities. It is your responsibility to hold any licence, permit or landowner permission required before detecting. Detecting on protected archaeological sites, private land without consent, or licensed mining concessions may be an offence. We sell equipment only; we do not grant any right to prospect and we accept no liability for unlawful use.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of expected finds, or indirect or consequential loss.
11. Intellectual property
All text, images and layout on this site are our property or used with permission, and may not be copied or republished without written consent. Brand names such as Nokta, Minelab and GoldXtra remain the property of their respective owners.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia, and the Zambian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
