The Garrett Vortex VX5 is a Garrett detector: Multi-frequency (13 kHz Multi-Frequency), 4 search modes, waterproof to 5 m.
13 kHz Multi-Frequency: A single multi-frequency setting covers coins, jewelry and general targets. Four Search Modes: A short mode list keeps the controls easy to learn. Along the Kafue River banks and the shores of Lake Kariba and Lake Tanganyika, a waterproof detector is what lets you keep going when the ground turns to mud.
Fully Transformable: Garrett builds the Vortex series so the whole detector can go under water to 5 m. Z-Lynk Wireless: Pairs with Z-Lynk wireless headphones for cable-free audio. Please note: follow Zambian rules, get the landowner's permission, and do not search protected heritage sites.
